		<description>I recently read the article you published in last week&#039;s Avalanche about my grandfather, Walt Adams.  I wanted to thank you for remembering him in such a way as to remind us all of what a true &quot;character&quot; he was.  I now own my grandparents&#039; home in Silver City. Although we miss Grandpa&#039;s rustic wit and  OYE Co. charm,  you can be asured that the front porch still affords a friendly afternoon spot for commentary and reflection. Stop by next time you are up our way.
